The Logan Theatre opened in 1915 as the Paramount Theater
A single-screen cinema, the theater had seating for 988 in orchestra and balcony levels. In 1929 it was taken over by Essaness Theater Company, a local Chicago company known for opening "talkies" and renamed Logan Theater.
